Chunhua practices in the firm's Richmond , Virginia and Guangzhou , China offices and is a member of the firm's International Department/China Practice Group. He is also the Chief Representative of the firm's Guangzhou office. He concentrates his practice in the area of international business and trade and specializes in China-related business transactions such as joint ventures and wholly foreign owned enterprises in the P.R. China, mergers and acquisitions, technology and trademark licensing, customs, foreign exchange control, antidumping and international employment.

Prior to joining McCandlish Holton, he practiced law for a number of years in a Guangzhou international law firm. He was also certified in securities law practice by the Ministry of Justice and China Securities Regulatory Commission.

He is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the American Bar Association. He serves on the Board of Governors for the International Practice Section of the Virginia State Bar. He is also a member of the National Bar Association of the P.R. China and the Private International Law Society of the P.R. China.
