Governor Holton is a member of the firm's Government Relations Team.

The Governor has served as President, Center for Innovative Technology (1988-94), Chair of the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority (1986-92), member of the Amtrak Board of Directors (1998-2003), Vice President and General Counsel American Council of Life Insurance, Assistant Secretary of State for Congressional Relations (1974-75), and Chair Republican Governor's Association.

In 2007, the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia honored Governor Holton for his lifetime of service to the Commonwealth.

Governor Holton is a member of the American Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar Association (past Vice President), and of the Virginia and District of Columbia bars.
