Jim is an attorney in the firm's Litigation Group. His practice focuses on defending employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters.  Jim is a graduate of Purdue University and earned his law degree from Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Jim is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the American Bar Association, the Norfolk-Portsmouth Bar Association, and the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys.  Jim is a licensed attorney in Virginia and Indiana, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and all of the Virginia courts.
